Bella Vista Equine offeres surgical services that can be performed in the field or at our in-house facility. Depending on the patient and procedure, surgeries can be performed under general injectable anesthesia or standing with intravenous sedation.  Surgical services offered include castration, enucleation, major laceration repair, tendon and ligament splitting, biopsies, and various orofacial procedures.  Through every procedure proper antimicrobial therapy and pain control are assured through multi-modal analgesia, such as local nerve blocks and anti-inflammatories.
